After extensive research, I decided on the 260 Wp solar module from CALIFAKTUR a few months ago. The main reason for my decision was the possibility of installing a professional photovoltaic solution for my VW California Ocean with "average technical skills". Since I generally avoid camping sites and drive my van all year round (Daly driver), the permanent availability of electricity was very important to me. In summer I have plenty of electricity, in winter the system supplies enough electricity to be self-sufficient for at least 4 days. Great!
The extremely simple installation was particularly noteworthy. Everything was a perfect fit and well thought out. Modules were screwed onto the standard C-rails and cables were routed through the left rear light into the interior to the rear cabinet. Charge controller connected, cable to the rear battery. Done! I would also like to highlight the extremely committed after-sales service. Any questions are answered quickly and competently by the founder Andy. My conclusion after 8 months
I haven't regretted for a second that I chose the large version. Installation was easy thanks to the included instructions and despite their size, the panels are inconspicuously attached to the roof. My request to connect the cable to the solar panel in a different way was implemented without any problems, so I didn't need the spiral cable. Since installation, I no longer have a power cable with me and have had no power supply problems either in the summer in Scotland or when winter camping in December.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, habe eine Woche mit durchgehend laufender Kühlbox und nachts laufender Standheizung stehen können, dabei war es die meiste Zeit sogar bedeckt. Vorher gingen maximal 2,5 Tage. Ich bin total begeistert. Nur die Klebestreifen des Ladereglers haben nicht gehalten und er ist schon nach 6 Wochen heruntergefallen. Da muss ich mir eine andere Lösung einfallen lassen.
Inhalt, Installation und Funktion einwandfrei. Das bekommt man auch als nicht-Profi hin…
Würde die Solarmodule jederzeit wieder verbauen 😀
Ich bin Bert und habe mir eine grosse Califaktur Solaranlage geleistet. Und in einer Werkstatt montieren lassen. Luxus.
Aber dann in Marokko hatte die Solaranlage keinen Effekt. Trotz Sonne.
Habe mich dann an die Hilfefunktion gewand und am gleichen Tag (2. Weihnachtstag) von Andy Rückmeldung bekommen. Nach Sreenshotübermittlung hat mich Andy über Whatsapp Telefonie angerufen und mir seine Verdachtsdiagnose mitgeteilt. Falsche Verkabelung. Batterien voll, die Bulli Steuereinheit misst aber nur den Verbrauch und nicht das, was über Solar reinkommt. Nach Andys Anweisung Kabel umgeklemmt, Fehler behoben.
Ein grosses Lob. So einen grossartigen Service erlebe ich selten.🌞🌞🌞🌞👌
Einbau war, wie beschrieben, sehr einfach. Funktion hervorragend. Jederzeit gern wieder.
